NEARVET Applied Research Seminars are about to kick off!
The Applied Research Seminars (ARS) are a national series designed to complement the development of our network and engage VET practitioners and managers in project activities.
These seminars will be a platform to ignite transnational discussions and foster the growth of applied research projects in Vocational Education and Training (VET).
While our Community of Practice (CoP) operates at a European level with communication in English, the ARS events will be conducted in respective national languages, ensuring inclusivity and accessibility.
The ARS serve multiple purposes:
- Comparing Knowledge: explore the insights gained from research and the competency framework alongside European counterparts from research, business, and VET institutions.
- Promoting Innovation: showcase the Digital Hub and its resources, including the CoP, as well as opportunities such as Applied Research Contests.
Target Groups include:
- Academia: Staff from universities and applied sciences institutions.
- VET Institutions: Trainers, managers, quality assurance personnel, and student/trainee representatives.
- Businesses: Managers in HR, R&D, training, apprentices’ representatives, and enterprise trainers.
The seminars will explore a range of subjects aimed at sparking discussions and fostering positive dialogues. Topics will include trends in Applied Research in VET across Europe, its application and implementation, the significance of connectivity and innovation, the required skills for applying Applied Research in VET, and aligning needs and competencies for Applied Research in VET.
