Insights from the 3rd Transnational Online Community of Practice Session

We are pleased to report the successful conclusion of our 3rd transnational online Community of Practice (CoP) session within the NEARVET project. This session represents a crucial advancement in our mission to innovate Vocational Education and Training (VET).

The Focus of this online workshop was on the progress of the development of the Digital Hub and the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC).

Participants were introduced to the MOOC Online Course, followed by an in-depth Master Class on "Problem Identification and Definition in VET"—a fundamental competency for fostering innovation in vocational education.

During the session, significant emphasis was placed on enhancing course content through the integration of visuals, animations, and video scripts. These elements are crucial for increasing learner engagement and comprehension. The discussion underscored the importance of employing multimedia tools to create more effective and interactive educational resources.

Participants provided valuable insights, particularly in the areas of developing templates for pre-assessment tests and competency-based learning materials. These contributions will be co-developed through local CoPs, ensuring that the materials are contextually relevant and address the specific needs of our diverse community.

The feedback gathered from this session will be instrumental in refining our methodologies and ensuring that the resources we develop adhere to the highest standards of educational excellence. This iterative process of feedback and improvement is essential to our commitment to continuous innovation within the NEARVET project.

We are committed to advancing the NEARVET online platform, guided by the insights and collaborative efforts of our partners. This session represents a significant milestone in our ongoing journey to enhance VET through applied research and digital innovation.

The session was led by DIMITRA Education & Consulting SA, with active participation from all the project partners.
